About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Amaya. I am currently pursuing a graphic design degree at Wake Tech.

I’m an artist at heart and have always loved to draw—and I still do. I especially enjoy using oil pastels to create landscapes and soft sky gradients. Along with traditional art, I also love creating fun digital illustrations. I’m also interested in photography and am continuing to explore it more.

My Story

I began my journey as an artist; as a kid, I loved to draw cartoon characters from my favorite shows. As I developed my creativity skills, I began to take an interest in video editing in my senior year of high school. From there I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer. I am currently finishing up my graphic design degree at Wake Technical Community College and hopefully graduating in spring 2026.

My Goals

My goal is to create designs that not only meet my clients’ needs but also leave a lasting impact on my audiences. I strive to step outside my comfort zone and explore new approaches to continually expand my creativity.
